In a world where our lives are heavily dependent on screens, it’s important that websites, apps, and interfaces are not only beautiful, but responsive and functional as well.
zulily
zulily is an online retailer that partners with both small and large businesses and everything in between. The site is based around flash sales that are up for a limited amount of time and therefore, the site is constantly changing. The challenge at zulily was creating a large volume of work and designing for a site that was built on a three break-point system so all projects had to be sized separately for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Visual Design
Throughout my time as a visual designer, I have worked to create responsive websites that look just as good on mobile devices as they do on desktop. This includes ensuring that the information architecture and hierarchy stacks in a way that makes sense.
